MILITARY PARANORMAL SOCIETY - FINDING THE TRUTH
EQUIPMENT
We here at MPS use a wide array of equipment in our search for the Paranormal. Up until recently there wasn't any equipment specifically designed for the research we conduct. We have had to improvise devices from things that were already out there for various other scientific research. Paranormal groups across the country have developed techniques to measure and record possible paranormal activity. MPS is currently in the process of changing some of our equipment out  with newly developed devices.Below is a list of a few of the common things we and other researchers use in our and their quest for the truth.
Sony Night shot Camera- Sees in zero light. This model records on dvds, and memory cards.
JVC Mini DV- Used for conducting walk arounds and interviews.
HD Full Spectrum Camera- Shoots video and photos in Full Spectrum, which consists of Infrared, Ultra-violet, and visual light. (1080P)
IR Camera and IR Illuminator combo- Infrared cameras are used in zero light and the Illuminators have a 50ft range.
KII Meter- measures differences in electromagnetic fields. Some theorys postulate that differences in the electromagnetic field can possibly be evidence of paranormal activity.
EMF Detector- dose the same as the KII, but with a digital readout.
Infrared Non-contact thermometer- Check for differences in temperatures. Some believe that "Cold Spots" are spirits using ambinte heat(energy) to manifest.
Flat Screen, and DVR- Used at the command center during investigations, and afterwards for evidence review.
Sony Digital Voice Recorders- used for EVP sessions. Electronic Voice Phenomena(EVP) are believed to be the voices of spirits captured on recordable media.
RCA Digital Voice Recorders
RCA Digital Voice Recorders
Infrared Flashlight- used in conjunction with the night vision equipment. We here at MPS use several different computers, and software to analyze data collected. Some of our software includes , Wave pad(audio), canon photo software. No images are ever edited except for the contrast and brightness when needed.
There are other pieces of equipment that are not listed that we use on a regular basis. However some our equipment changes from time to time. When updates are made to our inventory, we will update the list.
Thanks,
Stephen
